Jeremy has been involved in anti-trafficking efforts for 10 years. Prior to joining 10ThousandWindows in 2016, he was program director for a family foundation seeking to end trafficking and exploitation of children in Southeast Asia. At the foundation, he led a giving program and engaged with dozens of anti-trafficking agencies and global leaders. In addition to his foundation work, Jeremy’s background includes work in philanthropic advising, strategic planning and fundraising development for nonprofits. Jeremy holds a Bachelor of Arts from Carson Newman University and two Master’s degrees, including an MPA from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Country Director, Philippines
Jonna has been involved in the development sector for fourteen years. She joined 10ThousandWindows in 2010 as Training Manager, overseeing soft skills training and managing trainers from other shelters. She then became Deputy Director handling the operations for the economic program, and in 2014, started serving as Director overseeing the Philippines operations. Prior to joining 10ThousandWindows, Jonna worked for the Philippine government and other non-profit organizations focusing on poverty alleviation, health care, and social development. She has her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Public Management.
DEPUTY DIRECTOR, PHILIPPINES
Janice is the Deputy Director for PTI. She has been with the organization for nine years managing admin and finance and various programs such as soft skills training, work immersion, scholarship, and job referral assistance. Prior to joining PTI, she had seven years of experience working in the field of Human Resources particularly in talent management and organizational development. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master in Management from the University of the Philippines. She is passionate about helping individuals achieve their goals and live fuller lives. She likes traveling, gardening, baking, handcrafting, and dogs.
CLINICAL TEAM MANAGER, PHILIPPINES
When Rhea answered an online job ad, she didn’t think it would lead to a meaningful opportunity to help other people. She was one of the few who was there when 10ThousandWindows first opened its doors in Metro Cebu. Rhea’s background is in Psychology and she previously worked with young adults in school. Her decade-long experience as a guidance counselor served as preparation as she transitioned to her work with survivors of violence and exploitation. Rhea’s work with 10ThousandWindows is her way of making a difference in this world. She lives with her husband and two daughters. In her free time, she enjoys reading, baking and watching videos.
DR. LAURA CORDISCO TSAI
PROGRAM AND LEARNING ADVISOR
Responsible for the original design of 10ThousandWindows, Laura returned in 2018 to serve as the organization’s technical advisor. Laura is a social work practitioner and researcher specializing in human trafficking and gender-based violence (GBV), with over 15 years of regional experience. Her work broadly targets the development of more effective and empowering services for human trafficking survivors in Southeast Asia. She is a Fellow at Harvard University’s Carr Center for Human Rights Policy where she conducts participatory research. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Brown University, an MSSW and Ph.D. from Columbia University, and has completed post-doctoral training in trauma recovery and GBV from LSHTM and Harvard University.
Raised in the middle of the Canadian prairies, Amie gained her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, then promptly left the country in search of adventure and important stories to tell. Over the past 14 years, Amie has worked in non-profit communications for international development and counter-trafficking organizations in Cambodia, Canada, Suriname, Thailand, and the United States. Now based in the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, she brings a strong combination of field and technical experience to her role. When she isn’t working, Amie loves adventuring with her husband and three daughters, hiking, taking dance classes, and reading as much as possible.
TRAINING MANAGER, PHILIPPINES
Prior to joining 10ThousandWindows, Ashlei spent five years as a part-time college instructor and leading a human resource team in the agricultural and retail industry. Bringing her background of the world of work and industry standards, she now takes charge of the curriculum development and implementation of the Soft Skills Training and Empowerment Program at 10ThousandWindows. Part of what she does is also to build a robust pipeline of clients for the program through partnerships and collaboration with other aftercare organizations.
WORK IMMERSION PROGRAM COUNSELOR, PHILIPPINES
Before joining 10ThousandWindows, Celia was a Provincial Education Officer in a local non-profit organization in Cebu. She has been involved in the Child Labor Education Initiative whose clientele were children who were sexually exploited and involved in child labor. Celia was exposed to non-profit work for six years. Her focus was working with sexually exploited children on case management, group dynamics, community organizing, partnership building and stakeholder networking. Celia is a Registered Social Worker from South Western University and is currently taking a Master’s Degree in Guidance and Counselling.
EDUCATION PROGRAM ASSISTANT, PHILIPPINES
Chriscelle has been the Education Program Assistant for the 10ThousandWindows ALIVE Scholarship for three years. She works alongside her colleagues to support clients who aim to transform their lives through education. Chriscelle has a degree in Psychology from Cebu Institute of Technology – University and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology at Cebu Doctor’s University. If she’s not at her desk working, you’ll find her reading fiction books.
CAREER COUNSELOR, PHILIPPINES
Dian is a staunch advocate for the protection of children’s rights. Before joining 10ThousandWindows, she had five years of experience in a Cebu-based NGO where she closely worked with child-victims/survivors of commercial, sexual exploitation. While there, she also held a variety of roles in the fields of education, research, and advocacy and has been actively involved in anti-trafficking efforts in the province. Dian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of the Philippines and is currently taking her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology at Silliman University in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.
WORK IMMERSION COORDINATOR, PHILIPPINES
Since she was very young, Erica has always been passionate about serving young people, especially vulnerable individuals. This led her to pursue Psychology at Cebu Normal University. Erica is a registered Psychometrician and a licensed Professional Teacher in the Philippines. She also has a Diploma in Professional Education because she believes that education plays a vital role in helping improve the lives of vulnerable individuals. Erika’s previous work exposed her to working with children at risk in the community, including psychoeducation, counseling, assessment and intervention planning. Currently, Erika is pursuing her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of San Carlos.
SOCIAL WORKER, PHILIPPINES
After almost six years of working as a residential social worker, Glory Mae finally joined 10ThousandWindows. She has a heart for working with the marginalized of the community. Her expertise lies in assisting clients in the legal process, facilitating case conferences and supporting client’s referral to other services. She holds a degree in Social Work at the Mindanao State University and is an active participant of the Philippine Association of Social Workers, Inc. In her free time, Glory Mae loves to do household chores, hang out with friends and attend Sunday Service Fellowships.
COMPANY DRIVER, PHILIPPINES
Hector joined 10ThousandWindows in 2011 as the Company Driver. For almost 8 years, he has been able to transport clients, staff, and visitors in a comfortable, safe and timely manner to different destinations. On top of his day to day work schedule, he gives a priority doing the ministry of God in the mountain areas of Cebu. During his free time, he does household chores and eats out with his loving wife and his three children.
FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER, PHILIPPINES
Hyacinth has spent the twenty years of her career life focusing on finance, accounting and administrative functions working with non-profit organizations that serve people with poverty alleviation programs, social development and, victims of injustice. She is passionate about helping the vulnerable, the less fortunate and the poorest of the poor in the community and making a difference in one’s life. She feels a different kind of accomplishments that no monetary denomination can compensate. When she is not in the office, Hyacinth takes care of her three children and finds time to serve her spiritual community and travel and unwind.
Kathryne received her Bachelor of Arts in Global Development Studies and Global Public Health from the University of Virginia and then moved to Cambodia to work with International Justice Mission. After returning to the Washington, D.C. area, Kathryne served management consultant working on projects for the U.S. Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery. Currently located in Boston, Kathryne is pursuing her Masters of Public Health (MPH) at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Outside of work and school, Kathryne loves exploring new places with her husband, reading, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.

Leah was a volunteer tutor before joining 10ThousandWindows in 2019. She has worked in a school setting as a guidance counselor, teacher, and Human Resource Development officer. Her 15 years working in a Catholic school has given her many opportunities to work with people in all walks of life through their community outreach activities. As a teacher in a public school, Leah has advocated for her students to value learning and hold on to their dreams of finishing school. Leah holds a degree in Psychology and has earned her Master’s Degree in Guidance Counseling which enabled her to become a licensed Guidance Counselor. When she is not working, Leah enjoys watching sunsets, seeking out new places, reading books and most of all the beach.
MONITORING AND COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR, PHILIPPINES
Elle moved to Cebu in 2016 to pursue becoming a Psychometrician and follow her passion to work in a non-profit organization. She joined 10ThousandWindows in 2016 as a Human Resource and Administrative Officer after a two-year stint in the restaurant industry. In 2019, she became the Monitoring and Communications Coordinator responsible for the safekeeping of client data and implementing the organization’s communications strategy. Elle holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science with a major in Psychology from the University of the Philippines and is currently taking her Master’s Degree in Public Administration. When she’s not at her desk working, Elle loves to cook Filipino dishes and binge-watch movies on Netflix.

Luz has been in the helping profession for over 10 years. She has her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and is a Master of Arts candidate in Guidance and Counseling. Prior to her work at 10ThousandWindows, Luz was a university Guidance Counselor. Her work with clients involves helping them in the areas of academic achievement, career, and social or emotional development, ensuring that they become productive, well-adjusted individuals. She believes that counseling is a calling, more than a profession. In her spare time, she loves to travel and explore new places and culture.
EMPLOYMENT PARTNERSHIP MANAGER, PHILIPPINES
Maryeal has a diverse career background. Prior to joining 10ThousandWindows, she worked with various organizations championing and advocating for the most vulnerable members of the society especially out-of-school youth, young women and children, and persons with disabilities. Maryeal is passionate about working with marginalized and disadvantaged youth to unlock their potential to secure decent work and have a sustainable income for themselves and their families. Maryeal is about to take a Master’s Degree in Career Guidance and Counselling and a Diploma in Social Work.
CAREER COUNSELOR, PHILIPPINES
Before joining 10ThousandWindows, Riza worked as a school guidance counselor for 14 years. She was in charge of the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the guidance programs in the university. She holds a degree in Psychology and completed her academic requirements for a Master of Arts in Education specializing in Guidance and Counseling at the Cebu Normal University. Riza has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of San Carlos. She is a licensed Psychometrician and secondary teacher with a specialization in Values Education. Outside the office, Riza is a member of a fandom supporting local celebrities.

JOB READINESS ASSISTANCE PROGRAM COUNSELOR, PHILIPPINES
Before joining 10ThousandWindows, Sue Ann worked with children and adolescents as a School Counselor and Psychometrician in two private schools in Cebu City for 17 years. She is passionate about organizing community immersion activities for students as well as supporting initiatives that promote sustainable agriculture locally. She holds a degree in Psychology and is currently taking her Master of Arts in Guidance at the University of San Carlos. When she is not in the office, Sue Ann likes to spend time with her family and friends in an outdoor activity.
FINANCE AND ADMIN ASSISTANT, PHILIPPINES
After Vivian’s work experience as a Human Resource Assistant in a manufacturing food industry for a year, she joined 10ThousandWindows in 2017. Currently, she is the Finance and Administrative Assistant performing accounting, administrative and reportorial tasks. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at the University of Cebu. Outside of her clerical works, Vivian loves to travel and hike to the mountains. She spends most of her free time watching Korean dramas that made her plan a trip to South Korea.
