Cebu Team Shares Program Assessment Findings With Partner Network

November 7, 2018 in News

It was a full house with 39 partners attending the 10KW Partner Forum.

We are very grateful to have an incredible network of partner organizations working with us in Cebu helping survivors of violence and exploitation achieve their goals and dreams and stay safe and free.

Because we value collaboration and genuineness, it’s important that as an organization we open ourselves up to hear the voices of those we work with – both our clients and partner organizations who also work with our clients.

Throughout the Program Assessment (1) conducted earlier this year, many of our referral partners shared their feedback and recommendations through focus group discussions and interviews. Their insight was valuable.

It was important, then, to circle back to our partner network and share what we heard, what we learned, and what we intend to do with the findings!

In October, Dr. Laura Cordisco Tsai and the 10KW Cebu Program Review team, including Jonna E. (Cebu Director), Janice U. (Cebu Deputy Director), and Rhea B. (Cebu Clinical Team  Manager) hosted a Partner Forum to do just that – present the findings of the program assessment with our partners. Thirty-nine partners joined the event – a full house!

“We are affirmed by the findings and recommendations they have. They are very transparent and were able to identify the best practices in the organization. We are all in this together in doing more for the best of our clients.” 10KW Partner at Partner Forum

These were the highlights:

Rhea B, Cebu Clinical Team Manager welcomes 10KW partners to the Partner Forum.

Jonna E, 10KW Philippines Country Director addresses the partners with opening remarks.

Dr. Laura Cordisco Tsai, team leader of the Program Review, and 10KW Program and Learning Advisor presents the Program Assessment findings and recommendations.

Partners were able to raise questions for further discussion and offer feedback about the presentation during the Forum.

1 The 2018 Program Assessment was the first qualitative review of 10KW’s program in Cebu, Philippines since the organization began eight years ago. Led by Dr. Laura Cordisco Tsai, the review intentionally sought input and feedback from clients, staff, and partners, in order to improve programming in the years to come.
